I'd been waiting for that moment all my life
Was great to finally see Silversun Pickups in concert, and from the third row, too! Crowd wasn't rowdy at all, and our little cohort in the middle toward the front was probably the most excited in the hall! Was elated to hear so much from their latest album, though I would've also liked to hear Cannibal, Connection, Cradle (Better Nature), Currency of Love, Kissing Families, Seasick, and The Royal We; however, for a great band like SSPU, which has a large repertoire of great songs, they can't play everything in one night! They played just about everything else, though. :)
My one complaint was that vocals were a little hard to hear; the technician should've done a better mic check.
Kiev, the opener, was really good, too. Might have to check them out. Kind of long and jazzy, if you're into that sort of thing.
